For displaced, misplaced, and nostalgic ex-Bronxites

I did go to Roosevelt for my first High School Year and enjoyed it. I remember only one teacher: Nathan Popiel for Music Appreciation who left me with a love for music throughout my life's travels. I played on the Handball team and won 3rd prize in a city-wide Science Fair for Roosevelt. I think we swam in our birthday suits for swimming class. Great times back then in the wonderful Bronx.
