In 67-68 there were anti war protests going on at The Bronx campus of NYU. Also support for black panther radicals that were jailed. I remember seeing spray painted on a handball court wall Free Bobby, Free Huey and not understanding what it meant until a few years later. It referred to black panthers Bobby Seale & Huey Newton. Turbulent times.
