Nope,I don't know it.I do have a feeling that this shot was taken in the 1930s.Not too many BB people were around (not me 11/44).

Cute that it has "Bronx Board" overwritten at the top of the sign! Looks like an old theatre before the marquee was put on it. Maybe thats what it means by "similar venues". Bob

I know it's a theater but I can't help but think how much it reminds me of an entrance to a subway station or a firehouse. Maybe something about that is unusual?

Not sure where this is, but the clue says different from similar venues. My grandfather used to talk about going to a radio theater to hear radio broadcasts. Could this be one of them? Just a guess.

The vertical marquee says "photoplays" so probably not a radio theater. I think this place predates most of us and doesn't exist anymore.
