I love checking out the class pix here. You can watch the changes to the Bronx melting pot thru the years in the different classes. I think it's especially noticeable in the 70s.

The 70s was the height of white-flight in the Bronx and it's very obvious in the class pictures as more people of color came to the Bronx. And now 50 years later the cycle may be slowly reversing.

I went to parochial school until 6th grade and then Whalen JHS and Columbus HS. It was eye-opening how different the population of public school was. And you can see it in the class pics.
