Top 3 for me:
1. Apt. buildings with push-button buzzers in lobby: press the button and wedge the tip of a toothpick in it to keep it depressed. Do it for as many buttons as possible at the same time.
2. Get rope and tie doorknobs on opposite sides of the hallway together. Ring both doorbells and shout trick or treat.
3. Only for "pros": Dog poop in a paper bag, light it up, ring the bell, take off and yell FIRE on the way. Listen to the person stomping it out and discovering the contents.
