PITCHING NICKELS Return to topicsPost to this topic

GUYS
Did any of you pitch nickels against a wall at high school?
From September 1966 - June 1969 I went to Clinton High School
Many times during lunch I would step outside with other guys to pitch nickels. Mind you, we even did this in the winter with just our shirts on. Many of my shirts were the polo-type with short sleeves.
The hardest thing to do was to knock down a nickel that was leaning against the wall, which I did about 4 times, to win all the nickels that got pitched during each round. A round ended when each guy had pitched their nickel,

Saul,
You drew a wonderful picture of fond memories only for me (probably at least ten years older than you) it was pennies that we pitched either to the wall or sometimes to a sidewalk line.
Have a great Pesach
