West Tremont: Block and half to Jerome movie.......walking distance to elementary and JHS......bus stop
down the block......shopes down the block from drugstore to candy store , deli, to beauty parlor and barber shop.....and Chinese laundry and a block from Burnside Ave where you shopped for groceries,
bakery, appetizing store, hardware store....Chinese restaurant......we could walk to NYU and the
Aqueduct and the library but it was several blocks away....we had hills to skate down and a hospital
at the end of the block. It was our world
