For displaced, misplaced, and nostalgic ex-Bronxites

Posted by john s on Saturday, November 4th 2023: I lived on Bryant and Tremont.That's one block away from West Farms.Behind the southern shops side there was just land.Whatever was there before was removed for the expressway. This area was a haven for bums,not "homeless".As kids we played in this same area,right along the Bx river.The bums never bothered us kids.They panhandled around the shops until the cop rousted them.
