My sister took tap dancing lesions from a Mrs. Shields, who was a dance teacher on University Ave in the 1970’s. Her school was a store front near Holy Spirit Catholic Church. I took her there and brought her home because she was younger than me. Mrs. Shields was a terror. She frightened me and I wasn’t even in her class.
It would be serendipitous if Mrs. Shields was your tap dance teacher as well. If so, we might even have met, a long time ago.
