The Kingsbridge Theater was on Kingsbridge Road, just East of Jerome Avenue and West of the Concourse. The theater had a very strict lady usher who wore a white and black uniform and who kept everything under control - e.g. no smoking, no making out and definitely no one entered through the front door which was next to the screen. We were all afraid of her.
