I had the same view as Sammy. My apt on Godwin Terrace looked over Ehring's roof and straight onto the 231st #1 station. Besides the view we had the privilege of smelling all the yummy aromas from Stella Doro's bakery right from Bdway and 236th Street. The worst part of my 'Window on the world' was that my parents would always tell me about my friends arriving home from dates before me, since they could see all the way up from 231St. Ha!
