On the corner of castle Hill and Gleason was Leo's, a German born man and his wife, Inga's candy store, luncheonette.. A great hang out growing up though we tried his patience a bit and he'd kick us out after he had enough noise. At that time Coke's were being mixed with various syrups - Cherry coke, Vanilla coke etc. A chocolate egg cream was my favorite. If I had more money I got a malted. I understand this became Lulu's in the 60's and is still going strong.
