lease forgive the delay in responding. I started off life on Giles Place, where our princpal business area was the 231st complex, later moving even closer - 2704 Kingsbridge Terrace, each within the OLA parish boundaries. I went to Hayes (class of ‘47), tried my hand as a seminarian (didn’t work) and the next thing I knew I was flying for the Navy in “interesting” parts of the world. I had a full career, commanded aircraft squadrons and “warships”and settled down in central Ohio. Please keep posting – reading your posts is like getting letters from home!
