My 6th grade teacher would show us slides of her family's travels. She gave me a real desire to travel and see the world, which I have tried to do as much as possible.

My 5th grade teacher was very into musical theater. We spent an entire year putting on a production of Snow White. I eventually ended up being a professional choreographer and teaching dance and theater.

So, yes, I guess my teachers were strong influences in my life.
