My Dad worked at Western Electric. He also did TV repairs in his spare time for extra money. I used to love going around to different residences with him and watching him fix the TV's.
Sadly, he passed away when I was 8 years old, so I don't really recall if he complained at all about his job. I do remember him whistling while he was fixing the TV sets, so I think he was happy doing that anyway. I miss him.
