I have always regarded your posts of great interest, principally because I years ago figured out that you were from my neck of the woods and counted on you to back up my very occasional posts or to check my take on local lore. Through many years at sea, I held our corner of the west Bronx in the slot one calls home, from the Marble Hill station northward on Broadway all the way up to Vanny and the City line. Thanks for your post – it cheered me enormously, made me wish there was a “like” button I could press.
