The buildings I knew growing up in the Bronx were sturdy and many, esp on the Concourse, were built
with good taste in mind. I am in the city pretty much every month and I get mail daily from YIMBY (Yes In My Backyard) and the buildings in the Bronx and the other boroughs , in my opinion, are cold and ugly.

Also, people are getting priced out of their buildings....with nowhere to go. The rents are huge and now
they want to increase the affordable housing over fifteen percent. People are getting pushed out
everywhere and evictions are taking place daily. Very sad. What is kaput is the quality of life for poor and middle class families.
