John, I'm not familiar with that particular location but I do understand that sinking feeling when you
learn that buildings and shops you were familiar with are gone. My beautiful double building on
West Tremont Avenue was torn down for a middle school. We had two courts, tar beach, played
handball and stoopball....were in each others apartments- knew everyone.....our fire escapes and
on and on.........I am so sorry it is gone...I hate the latest architecture all over the city.
