I was born in St. Francis Hospital. We lived a block away on 141st Street. St. Francis would ring the Angelus bells at 6:00 PM every night. As soon as they were rung, "like clockwork" a mother on Brook Ave. would stick her head out the window and call her son "ANTHONY, ANTHONY come home for dinner" just like the Spaghetti commercial that was on TV.
