Hi, Alvin!

The Johnny Pump is named for the inventor, John Girard, who invented a fire hydrant in 1830 that used compressed air to increase New York City`s available water pressure. As a result, firefighters were able to battle fires with longer hoses in taller buildings. No doubt, it made their difficult job a lot easier for them and they nicknamed it "Johnny Pump"!

Welcome back!
