Concourse Tunnels

I tried to explain to my grandson how some of the D train stations along the Concourse had exits going down as well as going up and he couldn't picture it. I showed him some of the gallery pix that showed those tunnels. Thinking back, it really was weird that the subway ran above those cross streets!
