Barbara the stores that went up flames were on both sides of Burnside between Harrison and Grand Avenues. A supermarket called Shopping Cart on the north side of Burnside. Also a big supermarket on the south east corner of Burnside and Grand Avenues. They were all 3 alarm fires one of which the FDNY's Super Pumper responded. The purpose of the super Pumper was to supplement the water supply by drawing water from the Harlem river and running a hose line to the fire scene.
