I found a list of shut-ins in the Daily Mirror and began corresponding with a TB patient in Valhalla NY.
He invited me to visit him and I eventually visited him every Wednesday. I was sent for in school
(principal or vice principal)? and I was asked, "who wrote the absentee notes". I said "my
mother" and from behind me came a familiar voice, I DID NOT!!!!
