The area we know today as Westchester Square was an early European Farm settlement. In the year 1643, English Puritains from Connecticut, there was even a woman accused of being a Witch, by 1775 the largest group living in the area were Quakers. Look at some of the small street names, they refer to early settlers- Ferris, Purdy, Cornell, Seabury and more
