I know it was a basically Jewish camp, but I have a photo of Delores DelGato....she must have been in my
bunk building.Funny, I don't remember a mess hall . I remember tables lined up against big windows and
I was a volunteer to serve the counselors at the first table. I never went to Hebrew school but I still
remember the prayer over the bread before we ate.
I also remember trips to Bish-Bash Falls, Catskill Game Farm and Miller's Farm (a real working farm)
My sister was in Camp Bell across the lake. I learned to swim in camp. I absolutely loved it and
never got homesick. Also, we sang songs of peace- Lay Down Your Sword and Shield, Down By the
Riverside, etc. Good memories.
