I was getting off of the Woodlawn Jerome train at 161st when, just as the doors were closing, a man on the platform reached inside the train and stole a watch right off of the wrist of a guy sitting by the door! The people who witnessed this, including me, were so shocked that we didn't say a word. Then we ran down the stairs following the crook but lost sight of him.
