Meyer's was on the SE corner of 180th and Mohegan. As you walked into the store, the meat counter and display cases were on your left. There was a large walk-in refrigerator in the back. The floor was always covered in sawdust! We lived in the neighborhood until mid 1963 when we moved west to the Concourse. Meyer was still in business at that time. I don't recall a butcher shop near Honeywell, but there was a large meat/poultry shop on the SE corner of Daly Ave. and 180th street.
The Redox pharmacy was directly across the street from Meyer's, on the NE corner.
