In our small 3 & a half, shopping block, Italian neighborhood, we had several pastry stores, a pork store, fruit & vegetable stands, a coffee roaster where when you pass by, the aroma would drive you nuts, a pizzeria, you had to have a fresh dairy store where they made in-store ricotta & mozzarella, we also had a shoe store where you sat in enclosed cubicles while trying on shoes. Couldn't understand that, could it be so that customers wouldn't be embarrassed in case they had holes in their sox?
