On Sunday morning I'm told I have to go to the bakery on Burnside before church lets out otherwise "they" will buy out all the pastry.............. Walked straight up West Tremont to school, 82....passed a house I thought was haunted, across from 125 W Tremont; P.S. 26, I'd take a shortcut through Holy Spirit grounds until I was told that noms grabbed little Jewish girls and locked them up (QAnon, even then) LOL! Never walked to Alexanders (where my mom worked) without stopping off at Krumbs for a black and white ice cream soda. Two buildings connected - six floors, no elevator but we went door to door on Halloween and once a year collected for Jerry Lewis telethon (and went down to the station to run it in) Great memories....but saddened that they tore down the buildings for a school and most of Davidson.
