All I can remember is that I was at a friend's apartment only a couple of buildings from mine, and had trouble getting back to my place through the mountain of snow. I better remember the winter of 1960-61, where I think the total snow for the winter was a record. Early one morning, I trudged through a blizzard to the subway to go to CCNY and take my last final exams before graduation, only to find they were postponed. Our family car at one point was buried on the street for a few weeks, before we could get it out.
