You bring up the most interesting subjects. In daily life today, smoking is taboo but to our generation is was commonplace. I smoked from age 15 to 55, always non-filters. My lungs today are paying the price. I'm thankful to the pulmonary doctor that has helped me lead a relatively normal life. My parents never smoked and advised me not to start but of course I didn't listen. Even today, I long for a Cuban cigar and a snifter of cognac but alas that's not going to happen. However, if or when I'm told the end is near, I'm heading for the beach with a cooler full of COORS, a box of Cubans and a quart of Cognac.
