John W knows I graduated from St Helena way ahead of him (1959). I never walked there. I either walked to the Q44 bus stop on the service Rd at Castle Hill or my dad drove me & friends there a lot. I was always amazed at many girls from Parkchester who would walk everyday to school rain or shine. They were hearty souls. I was too lazy in the mornings to do that.
