Did anyone live there in the early 50's? They were built in 1950 I think. Our building was 815 pelham parkway. I think we were the first tenants in our apartment. It was a pleasant 2 bdrm and the livingroom windows overlooked the park and greenery on Pelham pkwy. Everything is still there. But our beloved playground with its metal architecture has been replaced with plastic structures. Sis and I went to the Annex School at the south end of the block for kindergarten and 1st grade - often traveling on our clip on roller skates with their key. I remember a little tree they planted there on Arbor Day 1951. Wonder if its still there.
