Yeah, I remember McMenimums (sp?)but not where it was. Wasn't it where those post-war Quonset huts were? The bar had an older crowd and I vaguely remember being in there one time with an older girl - I was under-age and fairly s***-faced at the time.

I was there only that one time and I think some of that crowd ultimately hung out around Oval Drug in Parkchester - the Brandos(?). Ritter, Fitzpatrick (big guy who always wore a carnation in his suit lapel), Walsh (Jubal?). I could be mixing crowds up.

Grew up in the North Q - from birth to later leaving for college. Played basketball constantly in the "little" playground. Occasional spats with the Archer Street Boys. First girlfriend and all that. The old songs.

It's all a distant memory now.
