Anyone remember a private house on the west side of Harrison Avenue being the convent for the nuns of Holy Spirit School on University Avenue probably going back to the 40's-50's ? I remember there being a staircase up to the Aqueduct from the schoolyard. Once across the Aqueduct there was a row of homes on Harrison Avenue whose backyards faced the Aqueduct. One of these homes was used to house the nuns, anyone remember this ? My 5th grade nun Sr. Margie Mullen had told me in recent years before she passed away that what became the convent on the 4th or 5th floor of the school was originally the gymnasium.
