What Was Your Favorite Bx. View From The Subway?

To this day, I often think of what I always considered to be my most memorable view from the elevated subway train on which I traveled during my growing up years to and from my home station of Allerton Avenue: Southern Boulevard, looking south from where the train and elevated tracks turn sharply into and out of the Simpson Street station at Westchester Avenue. The night view of that stretch of Southern Boulevard was SO spectacular whenever the neon lights of the Boulevard and Spooner movie theaters were illuminated, making me feel as if I were looking down at a section of Manhattan`s Broadway theater district!

Did you have a favorite view from your Bronx elevated subway line? If so, can you describe it and where was it located? What subway line did you use? My train was the White Plains Road/Lexington Avenue (now the #2) line. If you had more than one favorite view, what were they?
