I used to go to Jahn's every Friday night around 11PM with a large group.
We never ordered the "KITCHEN SINK", but on many a visit, there was a KITCHEN SINK left from the previous customer. One of my friends would sit down and yell "don't leave anything over.... They serve it to the next customer". Many of the customers had a very strange look on their face. There was a waiter there "Sonny" who always used to take our orders. We at times were 25 or more people. Sonny never wrote anything down but never made an error!! One of our group was very "FRUGAL". Never bought anything. This was a guy that would walk around with $10,000 in his shirt pocket. One evening on his birthday, we asked SONNY to make him a Sundae with sour pickles on the bottom, whipped cream on the top and a cherry. SONNY gave it to him "no charge". He not only ate the whole thing he asked for a refill! Same guy used to go with us to Adventurers inn. He would get a plate and proceed to fill it with sauerkraut, onions, mustard , pickle relish and ketchup. He then had the gall to ask for a glass of water. ONLY IN THE BRONX. Say safe!
