Hi again sammy. Sure I know that photo studio. It was midway between the old(really old) bank and Rusties restaurant/Bar. And what great food Rusties had. The bar was so busy so they gave great food(size wise and Quality wise),at low prices.West Farms was a gin mill hub.Behind that strip of stores was a small"bum" camp.As a kid,I played by the Bx. river. That was a no-no according to my mother, but of course I did it. The bums drank Sterno(a canned gelled alcohol used to heat camping stoves). They couldn't just drink it out of the can.So they put the gelled mass in a sock and squeezed the alka out. Going over to the river ,they scooped up some water, and had a slug.Ah ,river life in the Bronx.BTW,the drink was called "A squeeze"
