Sammy: Thank you! My grandparents lived On Albany Crescent during WW2 but moved to Heath during the war. My uncle told me that when he came home in 1946 from the war he found it strange to walk past his old Crescent building and go "home" to Heath Ave.

The Hudson line used to loop up at Johnson Ave to just below W231 and curve back down coming close to Albany Crescent. I always thought there was a possibility that the name was related to the RR train.
