Hi, Jim!

Teller Avenue between 164th and 165th Streets is the location of Junior High School 145 which was a brand new school when it opened in September, 1965. I was among the first teachers at the school and worked there for the next three years. If the bocce courts were on the east side of Teller Avenue where the school was built, I have to believe that the bocce courts were probably closed down prior to the construction of the school.
