My Father's family was originally from Wales. They came to America in the 1700s and are buried in Oakland Cemetery in Yonkers, in a family plot. My
parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and great-great-grandparents are all buried there. I was a Thomas, my Great-Grandmother was a Johnstone and my Great-Great Grandmother was a Courtright. They resided in Yonkers and The Bronx, where I grew up. I lived, until marriage, on Webb Avenue in the Kingsbridge section.
