Did You Have A Neighborhood Cafeteria?

During my growing up years of the 1940s and early 50s, my neighborhood cafeteria was "Messenger`s", near the northeast corner of Allerton Avenue and White Plains Road. Tickets were used for punching out the prices of whatever food was served to you over the counter, followed by paying the total amount to the cashier before going to your table to eat.
What was the name of your neighborhood cafeteria? Where was it located?
