Lived in various areas of the Bronx from 1947 to 1977 then moved to lower Westchester from 1977 to 1997, got married and moved to Bay Ridge, Brooklyn; where I still reside. If you ever wondered what the Bronx would have evolved into, had so many not fled, come to Bay Ridge. There are many, many working class families that have been here since before WW II and all those old neighborhood traditions i.e. street games, egg creams, bars, service veterans etc. They all seem to have progressed parallel to my Bronx experiences. For me it's a great place to live, and I look at it as the second coming of the Bronx.
