The Joy was originally out of Witlock Ave. It was the first boat I fished on. I was 7 yrs. old and my father took me. The owner of the Joy bought the Bronx Queen and sold the Joy. That is when the Joy was relocated to the creek by Westchester Square. Great memories fishing with my father on the Bronx Queen (It was a 110ft. sub chaser that was converted) Many years later The Bronx Queen sank on the way to fish near Coney Island. The boat hit a floating telephone pole. I think 2 people on the boat died when the boat sank.
