Yes, Doug, Richer`s is STILL there and so are the seeded rolls and black and whites. They have expanded the bakery inside with tables and chairs. The bakery`s name is now "Richer`s Bake Shop and Café"! Thanks to your response, I may go there later today and pick up some black and whites. I may even buy a couple of seeded rolls too!
My favorite bakery in my Bronx neighborhood on Allerton Avenue was Saperstein`s where I also enjoyed their seeded rolls, black and whites plus all the other goodies that gave Saperstein`s bakery its outstanding reputation.
