Our childhood, for many of us, was a time of exploring, experiencing and just having fun. IT was
a simpler time....we lived in buildings with many neighbors and friends. It was a feeling of
community and safety. Everyone looked out for each other.

We moved on...some married, many with children. Some did well, some didn't....we took many roads...
But like a warm blanket we kept the memories of living in the Bronx alive and it is a comfort for
so many of us. My building was torn down and I have regrets that I only have the tax photo of it.
When things become difficult, I think about the Bronx...and miss it
