What Was Your Nearest Bronx Railroad Station?

Mine was the Botanical Garden station. I never used it, as it would have been a long walk (about a mile) to the other side of Bronx Park from my Allerton Avenue/White Plains Road neighborhood. Also, since I had the convenience of living so close to the Allerton Avenue elevated subway station, it was never necessary to use the railroad (and a lot cheaper too).

Which railroad station was closest to your home? Did you ever use it?
