When I was a kid, bleacher seats at the Stadium were 75 cents. For the World Series, they went for $1.25. Now, I hear that bleacher seats for the World Series are going for as much as a thousand dollars. Who can pay that? Can anyone from the Bronx actually afford to see their team at the Stadium?

Lots of tourists, wall streeters, corporate box-owners and the like are in the better seats, but I think some people are just willing to shell out the big bucks for the bleachers. Much as I'd love to be there in person, I'm quite happy to watch on my big screen TV and save $$$.
