For displaced, misplaced, and nostalgic ex-Bronxites

I still have my zoo key somewhere. Yes, It's free on Wednesdays, but, then you have to pay to go through some of the exhibits. The Congo, for instance is a great one to see gorillas and other African species. I'm surprised that Jungle World was closed. It is right by the monorail and usually open, as is Madagascar and Tiger Mountain, which are always free. There is a lot more walking to do than when I was there as a kid because now many of the animals have "larger" spaces to roam, ie. the African Plains. Reference ID: BX93533 Responses:
