Good Friends
We’ve had this close friendship… seems like for quite a long while.
That’s kinda’ special these days… cause long friendships seemed to have gone outta’ style.
We’ve been thru’ many good times… even a few bad.
But when we 4 are all together… all’s right with the world, and times are glad.
Common denominators, we have many: Kids, Dinning Out, and lately aches and pains a-plenty.
Even sometimes spending excessively on our young’uns, I’ve been helping mine since they were in their early 20’s ($).
But life’s best things, like developing a long relationship can take patience and time…
It’s kinda’ like sipping a boat drink… while dropping a fishing line.
So, for now let’s simply enjoy this continued friendship, for the rest of “how every many days”.
And relish in the thought of how this relationship continually works and consistently still plays. Good friends… are truly a special breed.
They can lift you up and be there for you… always in time of need.
Family is fine too, but there’s nothin’ like good friends in hard times, to always help pull you thru.
And, though rough times may come along… time and time again…
Your good friends will always be there to help you out and comfort you, at the very end.
Ya’ know, true friends are even better than the finest sip of Scotch, Buka, or Wine…
They are a truly a very special gift… one that’s certainly heavenly divine.
So, always remember this…
“Good friends will forever be with you in times of hardship and need”.
And be there to lift you up with their heartfelt support, and probably a caring deed.
So cherish the special friends you have… ‘cause this for sure I know…
They’ll always be close by your side… when it’s time for you to check out and go.
